Appointments
Budi Dental aims to provide patients with appointments to meet their treatment needs. As a courtesy, we will contact you via telephone call, email or text message to confirm your appointment two days prior to the scheduled day. If you have a preference of how you would like to be contacted, please write this on your Medical History Form. Please note: It is a requirement of all patients to confirm appointments – failing to confirm your appointment will result in your appointment being cancelled. The cancellation policy of Budi Dental requires 24 hours notice for cancellation of an appointment. Should an appointment be cancelled without the required notice period, a $50 cancellation fee may be charged.
Safety
All patients are required to complete a full Medical History Form as accurately and completely as possible, to allow staff to identify any circumstances that may increase the risks associated with dental care.
Respect
Budi Dental values each patient as a unique person. We hope that at all times we can provide dental treatment in a manner that is respectful of your culture, beliefs, values and personal characteristics. We aim to maintain a caring environment that is respectful of all people. All staff members are united in the effort to deliver excellent dental service and to make each patient as comfortable as possible. Patients are asked to reciprocate this respect by being mindful of all staff at Budi Dental and other patients.
Communication & Participation
Each of our dental practitioners strive to provide our patients with treatment options suitable to their individual needs. We develop this by listening to their concerns and working with patients to help achieve a healthy mouth and attractive smile. Our obligation is to share with patients the present condition of their mouth and advise what steps are necessary to achieve optimal oral health.
We do expect patients to actively participate in decisions and choices about their treatment and dental needs. For extensive treatment plans, we also encourage a patient to involve their family or carer in the decision making process.
Privacy
A patient can expect that their personal health and other information will be collected, used, disclosed and stored in accordance with relevant privacy laws, and that this information will remain confidential unless the law allows disclosure or the patient directs us to release the information.
Patient Feedback
A patient’s evaluation of the care received at our practice is an extremely important form of feedback that provides valuable information about the services we provide. We encourage patients to provide both positive and negative feedback.
